Death Valley's Little Brother

I frequent this café regularly, and the staff is consistently friendly and welcoming! I know most of the baristas by name, and they are very knowledgeable about coffee, expertly crafting beautiful latte art. The café has a cozy, homey vibe that I love, and it always maintains a calm atmosphere, no matter how busy it gets. It has been, and continues to be, my favorite café in KW!

This café was highlighted in the communityEidition.ca newspaper and has received excellent reviews so far. I stopped by today, and I really liked the atmosphere. It's quite artistic, cozy, and has a nice jazzy vibe. The seating inside is comfortable, and they offer a wide selection of whiskey. There are also various reading materials available for guests to enjoy with their coffee. While the scones and brownies were a bit tough and not the best, I still had a good experience overall with the café and the coffee.

Finding the restaurant can be a bit challenging, as only "DVLB" is displayed on the door. However, once inside, it's quite charming, and the coffee is excellent. I tried one of the chocolate biscuits, and it was delicious as well.

Uptown Waterloo has a fair number of quaint and exquisite coffeehouses, many of which do not advertise their stores; they simply believe in their services, food, and loyal customers’ word of mouth. So here I write, as a new loyal customer. TLDR: Exquisite, yet bold and complicated. The ambiance of the cafe sparked my desire to revisit with a book, a pen and a notebook. With a cup of loose leaf tea (and maybe dessert), it’s the right place to relax, chat and get inspired.

Absolutely the best coffee in Kitchener Waterloo. There only problem with the cafe is the size and pricing, you'll end up paying 5$ for a cappuccino so be prepared.
