Cheap gas prices than any other speedway location. I see a lot of fancy cars filling their tanks full...driveway is always crowded with cars. Careful opening your door so wide or anytime dent accidents may happen. By far this is the biggest speedway convenience store I've been to. Large selection of coffee, Slushees and doughnuts as you walk in. Has practice is way cheaper than Novi and West Bloomfield locations.
Speedway is always the best. Always fresh coffee, decent hot food, GREAT hot food if you consider the fact it 's a gas station lol. Staff is always crazy friendly and happy. (Most locations I 've been frankly). I suggest trying the new espresso blend coffee they are carrying now. Packs a nice punch. I mix it with one of the machine coffees (like French vanilla or English toffee) only needs like one creamer then and it 's perfect. It 's no starbucks, but if you ask me, that 's a good thing. I like sbux too but Speedway Cafe gives them a run for their money with the nice coffee and creamer selection and the prices. The place is always clean and/or being cleaned too. They also have staff that is strictly for cleaning, cooking, and restocking so the counter/cashier line never suffers. A
I visited Speedway Cafe at 3510 Elizabeth Lake Rd, Waterford Twp, MI 48328, at 9:10 PM on July 30th, hoping to order a pizza using the automated screen. However, I was approached by a female staff member who appeared upset that the screen was still on, and she canceled my order. When I inquired about their usual closing time, she told me it was 10 PM but then stated she had decided to close early. I really don’t understand why they have posted hours if the staff can just close whenever they choose, and why they treat customers this way when they ask questions.
The short, dark-haired punk employee, Cash, displayed the most unprofessional and rude behavior I've ever encountered in a restaurant. I witnessed her verbally harassing one customer and being unnecessarily rude to another, only to turn around and act sweet to someone else. This feels like profiling to me. I've decided to take my business elsewhere. Management should definitely look into this situation.
