Shorty's - Waterford

Shorty's Bar and Grill on Dixie highway is a great place for a night out!!! I would recommend it to anyone looking to get away from your hectic life and have a little fun. The owners and the manager are great people. They have made Shorty's a very enjoyable place to visit. The bartenders and wait staff are very attentive and friendly. They have delicious food and excellent drink prices. They also have DJ's and live music, plus dart leagues and an lod tournament every Friday. If you are interested, just get ahold of Frank Benning. Shorty's has that friendly neighborhood tavern feel that I love! Always great service, coldest beer in town great selection), friendly staff and management. Great food/drink specials daily, many craft brews always $3.50 each...not 5 bucks like most places. Bucket specials all iced down, chilled pint glasses, they have beer lovers covered! Nice new floor a few months ago...looks awesome. I really enjoy the outdoor deck overlooking Dixie Hwy when the weather is nice patio heaters when cooler). Food is very good and very reasonable... Just today they had a $4 burger fries special! It's not elegant and stuffy...it is a good time hometown bar, exactly what I want.

Bartenders are extremely friendly servers are amazing!! The food is amazing as well! I suggest the chicken wings... also the chicken bacon Alfredo is my favorite pasta on the menu!!! Must check it out! The deck is never a bad place to party either!!

I sat upstairs on the patio with my family! The bartender was super sweet and really tentative to our needy asses! It was a little chilly out in the evening so the manager came up (without us even saying anything) and turned on the heat towers and put up the plastic walls around where we were sitting! The couches are super comfy and clean and felt very homey! I would for sure reccomned Shortys! We have been there a hand full of times and have never had a bad experience. Also Really good food for 'bar ' type food!

Shorty's on Dixie highway in Waterford is a friendly neighborhood bar and grill. Management, Frank Benning, go out of their way to make customers feel welcome. The bar/wait staff are friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend Shorty's to anyone looking for a place to unwind after a long day at work or just to meet up with friends.
