Park Row Cafe - Waterbury

I ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich on wheat bread with fries and coffee, but received an egg and cheese sandwich on an English muffin instead. The fries were delicious, but too salty for my liking. The coffee was not very good. Although my experience wasn't accurately reflected in this review, I believe there is potential for improvement. The service was for dine-in and the average price per person was between $10-20.

I love this cozy restaurant. The food is amazing and reasonably priced. The service is top-notch. I would give a 5 for both the food and service. The atmosphere is also a perfect 5.

The food at this restaurant was excellent. However, I had to open my own hot chocolate package and request a cup to pour it into. Other customers had their hot chocolate served to them, complete with whipped cream, by a different server. Unfortunately, the women's bathroom was out of order that night. Both trash cans were overflowing with paper towels and there was no soap to wash our hands. This all occurred on a Saturday morning.

I would describe this place as a sort of hometown cafe. There's nothing fancy about the place, but I felt welcomed and was treated very well. Our lunch consisted of a burger for me and a buffalo chicken wrap for my partner. Both were tasty and well made. Our sides were onion rings and fries, both of which were freshly made and served hot. The staff were engaging and kind of funny, which added to our enjoyment during our visit. Highly recommended.
