Nino's Trattoria - Waterbury

PORTIONS ....HUGE!!! Food is AMAZING!!! The grinder bread is so FRESH and YUMMY!!! Great friendly staff. The first time and we were not disappointed. Can't wait to go back.

Stop for a quick meal and was pleasantly surprised by the size of the restaurant, it was much bigger than I thought. The service was very good, everyone was friendly and the food came out quickly, although it wasn't crowded while I was there. My dishes were huge and I took most of them home in a doggy bag. Food was definitely worth the price. If I stay in the area again, I'd stop and try something else!

The food is amazing. The service is exceptional. If you eat here, you have another meal for the next day. I've been eating at this restaurant for 27 years. I had my first date here with my pretty, lovely cuff. Ask for the best waitress her name Alana. She's exceptional. Chicken Marsala, Lachs Fagoli, Veal Parmagian, Fried Mozzarella, Fried Calamari.

Ninos Bolognese about homemade pasta is excellent with one side of sausage. And her escarole with beans appetizer is really good. The service is consistently wonderful. Unless you have an Italian mom to cook for you, Nino is the place to go when you are in the mood for big pasta.

I thought the food was amazing. Had eggplant rollatini for the first time. It was great.
