I grabbed their ziti and meatballs with garlic bread as a takeout option. The ziti and meatballs weren't half bad, although the sauce and meatballs lacked flavour. It tasted as if marinara sauce was just topped with it instead of homemade sauce. The garlic bread was decent as well, I would've liked it more if it tasted more garlicky and less cheesy but expectations cannot be extremely high. All in all it was a good takeout Italian for a decent price.
EDIT: For some reason last 3 times I've had pizza here it isn't what it used to be. Crust is soft. Too much sauce, and a greasy mess and undercooked. I don't know what changed but if doesn't get fixed soon you guys are gonna lose business. Regular menu food is still as it always was. But I won't be ordering pizza here anymore until it goes back to how it used to be. Food is always delicious. One of the best pizza houses in Waterbury. Service is always slow. But that is because of the high turn out of pies. And I am ok with that!
Usually cool spot. Walk in sit at the bar as 4 employees watch me. Sit and wait almost 10 minutes with no service. 4 older white people walk in and get immediate service. You had to walk by me to get to them. No, sir well be right with you nothing! Guess my money is no good?
This is my first time getting pizza from here. I did not like it at all. Cheese was rubbery and the pizza dough was hard and stiff. I would not return.
First time eating pizza here let me just say by far the worst slice I've tasted 100% FLOP 0 crunch I felt like I was eating a Cumberland farms gas station slice of pizza what of waste of money I should of ate pizza in NEW HAVEN and the price is over rated charged me 10 bucks and some change for 2 slices and 1 can of coke
