Diorios never disappoints. They did some updating while they were closed. New beautiful chandeliers, paintings, a brighter wall color, bathrooms updated . Thankfully, they kept the beautiful booths and the 2 popular round tables. Love Diorios. We had a delicious meal. We all had filet mignon. Each person at our table wanted it cooked at different degree of doneness. The cooks hit it spot on. We each had what we asked for from rare to med well more well…Med rare more rare etc. most of all the staff was welcoming Mario right up front and center making sure everything running smooth . A special shout out to Cindy our server. Very knowledgeable and a delight to converse with. I hope they bring back live music again. Ahhh the good old days!

We have anxiously awaited the return of Diorio's, and it didn't disappoint! It is truly a significant piece of Waterbury and Mario, Rob and the crew continue to deliver great service, wonderful ambiance and most importantly outstanding food! We can't wait to return, even though we live out of State now! It will always have a place in our hearts and palates!

We originally made the reservation for 5 but called to ask if we could add 2 more people. The host at first said they were booked but he would take a look. He came back on the phone and said of course we will make it work and accommodate you. We had a large round table in a great location in the window. The server was great. He was quick to say hello and get our drink orders. Their signature Infuse-tini is delicious with vodka soaked grapefruit in it. The fried calamari was perfectly cooked and the Thai chili sauce on the side was a yummy alternative to marinara. We did ask for marinara also and that was great too. For dinner the Tuna special, penne ala vodka, scallops over risotto, gemelli and sausage were all amazing. We were so full we didn’t have room for dessert but the platter the waiter showed us looked yummy. We will definitely be back!
