Carvel - Waterbury

Children and I think from time to time a tasty bite. children love the different aromes. good place for rewards to show the children I appreciate their help.

I was very disappointed and discouraged by the service I received today. I arrived an hour before closing time on Sunday, and two of the three staff members completely ignored me. One worker eventually handed me a task to complete, while the other joined her friend, leaving me to explain my topping preferences on my own. Normally, when I visit this Carvel, I’m greeted with friendly hellos and goodbyes, but this time, I didn’t receive either. While I recognize the familiar faces of the staff, I have never been served by them before. I really hope there’s a checklist regarding the customer service standards for Carvel employees, because that certainly wasn't my experience today. I think improvements are needed, or they should consider finding better staff.

I really like this Carvel. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that they don't allow you to eat inside the restaurant; you have to take your treat to your car. However, the staff is very friendly.

I've been coming to this ice cream shop for years, and their ice creams are fantastic. However, on my visit today (07/08/22), I encountered a worker who had a really unpleasant attitude. From the moment I arrived, she seemed disinterested and unfriendly. It's disappointing to see such a great place being let down by poor customer service.

Best ice cream AND you got frankies right there so you might as well get a hot dog.
