The lunch menu includes a soup or a salad. We took a Dal soup and it was very good. The lamb curry I had was also very good and spicy, but not too spicy. We got a nice mango-cream as dessert on the house. If you really like Indian food you are here at the right place.
We discovered this place by pure accident walking through the old city. Food tasted excellent, esp our Chicken Jalfrezi. During summer one can sit also outside. Inside has cosy atmoshere due medieval arches. There is also an open fire place for winter. Staff was quite friendly.
Honestly, I rarely had better Indian food than that. The butter chicken as well as their panes were really delicious, Curry was well balanced and not very hot (not should be in these dishes) and the Nan bread was delicious with a little...touch or sesame seeds. The waiters were very nice and looked after us very well. Very recommended to visit when you are around and have mood for Indian food!
We cook and eat a lot of curries and after cycling the Mozart cycle path we hunted some spicy dishes. What we did not expect was a real Indian restaurant of this quality. The staff was very hospitable, service was fast and the food was as good as everything we had in England.
It is the best Indian restaurant in the city: wide selection of Indian dishes. Veggiterian gets little comfortable. The staff is nice. Recommended to take table outside, as the interior in summer is less comfortable.
