Amazing Greek food in Wassenaar. Cosy ambiance with friendly and attentive service. Menus in Dutch and English and staff is keen on explaining Greek food to beginners like me. All orders include superb potatoes and a small salad to be shared, as the essence of the culture is to share food at the table. I had pork stuffed with feta and Gouda cheese and my wife had codfish. Both expertly cooked and presented. Only if is that there 's no parking but that 's not different than any other restaurant around.

We travel from Boston to visit family in Wassenaar on a regular basis, and we always make it a point to eat at least once, and preferably more than once, at Eleni on each visit. The food is fabulous, and the notwithstanding the voluminous menu, the chef is always willing to modify dishes or add different sides, or whatever makes the customer happy. There is a limited children 's menu, but the restaurant is happy to adapt other offerings for children, and our daughter has been cleaning her plate at Eleni for years. And the staff is friendly, so that even though we are not regulars , we always feel at home at Eleni. For us, it 's the place to go in Wassenaar!

Best Greek restaurant I've ever been! Many grilled nets can be made GF, never was sick after eating in this restaurant. Friendly and competent staff.
