Bread Water - Washington Island

I have been to this place 2 times now. Really appreciated that they let their light shine for Jesus???? First time the cherry bbq bacon burger was a surprise as to how good it was! Came back this year to have it again and see if it was as good as I remember? It was! The waitress was super helpful and knowledgeable about the area and the owners actually won the guinness book of world records for kayaking! It's definitely a country feel like cracker barrel in an antique

We arrived at 5:30 for our 3 o'clock check-in at the heritage room, but it wasn't ready yet. Despite this, the woman at the front desk checked us in and showed us to the room. I was disappointed to find out that the whirlpool in the room was not functional, making it useless. We had dinner and returned at 6:30, only to find the room still not fully prepared. We had to wait around until 7 before we could finally settle in. The floors were creaky and the hot water in the shower was also not working properly.

I had a very unique dining experience at this restaurant. The burger I ordered was excellent, but the side portions were a bit small. Overall, I was satisfied and would definitely consider stopping by again in the future.

Honestly I was a little wary due to the Christian slant of the business, when I am in fact a demon. However, the breakfast was delicious and filling! Great service. I didn't devil anyone the rest of the day, instead enjoyed bicycling the island. Maybe I've just been hangry all along.

The restaurant offers incredible food and is managed by a charming lady. Visitors should be prepared to wait a bit for their order, but the delicious food makes the wait worthwhile.
