Elle - Washington, District of Columbia

The food is off the charts amazing. I could be a vegetarian if I ate at Elle for all my meals! Service is superb. Drinks delish. Bread is out of this world I took a loaf home and couldn't stop dipping in olive oil and savoring each bite. Check this place out!

I recently tried the food, coffee, and cocktails at this restaurant and I absolutely love it. They are constantly improving and it has become a great spot in the neighborhood. It makes me want to move back to DC. The prices are reasonable, and anyone who thinks a $3 cup of coffee is expensive should just make their coffee at home or go to a corporate chain. The atmosphere is wonderful and the decor is beautiful. The owners, who are long-time residents of Mt. Pleasant, are doing a great job. I will definitely make it a point to visit every time I am in town.

We stopped at this restaurant for the first time after seeing customers inside what used to be the empty Hellers. We tried a blueberry scone and a ginger bran muffin, both of which were delicious! This place is a new neighborhood favorite.

What you'd expect from these folks. It's fantastic.

The owners of Elle made a strategic hire recruiting Hot Chef Brad Deboy from DC's Michelin's 1 Star Blue Duck Tavern. The food is top notch at a reasonable price. Service is attentive and drinks are tasty. Save room for dessert!
