San Antonio Bar and Grill - DC

Four of us came for lunch and were happy to find happy hour specials on a Saturday! We had a variety of beers with our enchiladas and tacos. The restaurant was bustling with people enjoying happy hour, creating a lively and energetic atmosphere.

I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone!! Despite making a reservation through Open Table, receiving a confirmation and a reminder email, when my group of 7 arrived, we were informed that they had no record of the reservation and could not seat us. I was given conflicting explanations for this mishap. The manager initially stated that they had no affiliation with Open Table, but later mentioned that perhaps higher management did. No apologies or attempts to resolve the situation were offered. This was the worst customer service I have ever experienced!

At San Antonio Grill, the food was tasty but the service was lacking. We had to wait 30 minutes for our drinks and another 45 minutes for them to be brought to us. It took an hour for our food order to be taken, but the food came out quickly and was delicious. The waiter mentioned they were short-staffed with only two servers on the floor, which is understandable. However, it would have been better if they informed customers about the longer wait times so they could decide whether to stay or leave.

Rude host said that they don't honor OpenTable reservations
