Ruth's Chris Steak House - DC - Convention Center

This is a classic, upscale, sophisticated steakhouse with excellent service and delicious, tender steaks. I visited after a day of exploring D.C.'s historic monuments (it's possible to walk here, but it's a long walk) so I felt a bit underdressed in jeans and a t-shirt, but they still welcomed us. The interior is very elegant - perfect for business meetings or a romantic date. While this steakhouse is on the pricey side, I wouldn't hesitate to return if I was in the area again.

I was sad when I found out that the restaurant was closed after 12/24/18. the service and eating were always great. I don't want to see another ruth chris.

Eating is always good at ruth’s chris, and it was also in this night. we have planned an early meal at 17.30 clock because we had tickets for an 8:00 clock show a few blocks away. the restaurant was empty when we arrived, but the service was extremely slow. drinking orders did not come out and were forgotten and had to be ordered again. and because the service was so slow not dessert because we had no time and had to rush through dinner to make hardly the start of the show. that was the first time that we brought our son and his friend into a restaurant of this caliber, and it was really disappointing.

Exceptional service as always. I am therefore disabled; I asked the waiter to ask the cook to cut my steak. the steak was cut into pieces that made it very easy for me to eat.

This location has always had the best food and service. They never push items on you as other well known steak houses try, the service has always been top notch and, in my opinion, better than the other Ruth 's Chris steak houses.
