Purple Patch - Washington, D.C.

A wonderful dining experience just like my first earlier this year. Erin, our server, was really terrific along with the runners that brought our meals and cleared our table afterwards. Delicious, hearty meals that were so generous I brought more than half my spicy Filipino fried chicken entrée home with me. The other server wearing the purple BLESS YOUR HEART graphic t-shirt is a hoot and a half. Nice ambience, beautiful dining room and such a funky, cool neighborhood to boot!

I'm low key glad I don't live in the area because I'd be there all the time. The calamansi tea was extraordinary and the ube pancakes may have ruined all other pancakes for me. I went with my family and everyone loved their food. A definitely a must try.

Excellent food service. Crab stuffed red snapper was great with an actually really good side salad. Get the banana bread w Ube ice cream dessert — just the right amount of sweetness. Only disappointment (not pictured) was the papaya salad — kinda dry like it had been sitting awhile.. not sure if that’s the intention of the dish. Overall, recommend!
