Il Canale - Washington, D.C.

Everything was delightful! From the service to the food. Got the lasagna, a pizza, and lobster ravioli. Lasagna was came in a cute bowl, delicious crispy cheese on the edges and meat sauce that was perfectly seasoned. Pizza crust was perfectly chewy and not oily at all. Lobster ravioli was excellent as well, not heavy and jam packed with lobster. Definitely book ahead for a reservation! Food was also flying out of the kitchen. They definitely have an efficient process

Outstanding Italian food in a very, very (for real) big restaurant. Make sure you book to avoid long lines, the place is always full! We order lasagna, and it was awesome! Maybe one more pasta layer for perfection, but it had a lot of good cheese and also meat inside, so no complaints! We also had the diavola pizza, a must try! Spicy and balanced, with a super dough (they?re famous for it). Good service as well, always on top of everything. A must try if you are in Washington

Came because of all the raving reviews and seeing that il Canale made yelps top 40 list of restaurants to try. I got the famous lobster ravioli. It was good but I don't see the hype and also find other Italian restaurants in Georgetown to be better. It was still a good experience. We also tried their cannoli for dessert which was good. Overall nothing was bad but I also wasn't blown away.

Stopped in here for a quick lunch after walking around Georgetown and it did not disappoint. Since it's a pizza place, I ordered their mushroom Pizza with white sauce as I'm not a big fan of tomota. Pizza came out quick, it's sharable but if you're hungry you can eat an entire one. I'd have to rate it a 8/10 because the white sauce didn't really have much flavor and I know it's thin crust but it was a bit too soggy, I had to use a fork to help pick it up. I'll try the pasta

One of a kind and the staff were great. I was the photographer for a Yelp event and the food was great from what I was told. Not one person had a negative experience and for those who visit this location before had a great experience. Authentic and unfiltered tradition that I would say yes I will visit on my personal time and enjoy. It is also a beautiful space. Parking is not the best but a nice neighborhood for the time I was there as in the view at the canal.
