Hank's Oyster Bar - Dupont

The atmosphere was lively, complemented by friendly hostesses and attentive waitstaff. The excellent drink selection made it the perfect dining experience for oyster lovers, even with our group of eight!

There aren't many choices available for those who don't eat shellfish. One person in our group ordered the meat special and found it to be tough and not worth the price. However, the crab cakes and fish tacos were delightful.

The food was disappointing. I expected the fresh oysters and clams to actually taste fresh, but they didn’t. I ended up with a bad clam. The crab cakes were mushy, and there were a lot of gnats around. The dining area was quite crowded. Our server was friendly, but the service was quite slow.

Veal chop was expensive. Veal chop was tough! Veal chop was quite simply awful! Oddly the appetizers were quite good.

Always good never disappoints. Great wines. Told waitress we had tickets for an 8 pm show and she made sure our food came at in a timely manner. Weather was great for sitting on the patio. Only trouble is finding a parking space in the area, we were almost 20” minutes for our reservation.
