Farmers Distillers - Washington, D.C.

Our food was delicious! Our server was not friendly, seemed bothered to be taking our order, and didn’t approach our table for the first minutes we were there.

My son’s friend came to visit on Christmas Eve. We picked him up at Union Station and wanted a restaurant nearby. We were so excited to find this restaurant was open and serving the buffet until pm! Food and drinks were all really good. The fried chicken and prime rib were outstanding. As were the soups, sides and deserts. My only issue was that we were the last seating of the night and as the sides and salads were running out they were not replenished. Otherwise, all was really good.

Very disappointed in the Christmas buffet setup. The food was picked over and the presentation was lacking. There wasn't enough staff overseeing the serving. Children were allowed to serve themselves and customers handled the utensils to serve themselves. Our reservations were for PM and the buffet ended at AM. No additional fresh food was put out and we were left with the picked over food. There was only a fraction of the items advertised on the menu available on the buffet. It was very noisy and we were seated beside a family with a baby that cried the entire time. We've been to nicer buffets like Jasper's in Largo, MD. The taste of the food was ok for the most part but everything else left much to be desired.

We had reservations and only a third of the items on the menu were available at the buffet. For example, the seafood table should of had five or more dishes, but there was only one or two dishes on the table throughout the evening.

Amazing. I wrote a review on google this morning. I’m still digesting the wonderful meal I had! So good! I’m telling everyone how great it was and you all are Please give everyone a well deserved paid day or two off so they can be with their friends and families because I certainly was able to enjoy mine on Christmas Day because of your all’s sacrifice and incredibly noticed hard work and amazing attitudes You guys provided the best dining out experience I have ever had. From the bottom of my heart, thank you, you made my Christmas so so so so much more Merry. Thank you again! I’ll be back once I digest the all you can eat buffet! 😂
