It can be very difficult to make a reservation here, as it is a quite tiny restaurant, but with careful planning we got a 5:00 Resy and let yourself in. The whole table ordered the same: espresso martini and pistachio pasta. While the combo was a little strange, these two were very recommended. Now I have to go back to enjoy the outdoor seating and a French onion soup!
The food was delicious and the portions were good. The service was great. I sat when I got in. The waiter was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. I was happy. I ate in the salon at the fireplace. I had the escargot and mussels. The escargot has been seasoned perfectly. The shells were large and came in a huge pot. My friend had the duck and said it was seasoned and wonderfully cooked. I definitely come back!
What a great place to have a New Year's Eve dinner. Chez Billy Sud has been a favorite of ours since it opened. The only thing I wish they would bring back is the Paris-Brest!
Loved it, only thing was we werenât recommended the onion soup⦠it was the best ever and a staple. Steak de frites was amazing and duck fabulous. Compliments to the chef!!!
Fun place with good food. Generous portions that can easily be shared. Prices are reasonable, service is friendly and attentive. Only gripe is the mandatory 20% gratuity that's added to all bills.
