Delicious food (super avocado toast! , great coffee, and such friendly service. So good I went twice on a recent trip to DC. The owner recognized me on day two and was so kind and welcoming. I especially appreciated their attention to COVID safety for their guests and their staff. I'll definitely be back. Can't recommend highly enough!

In town from Cincinnati and desperately needed a bite after going to the Smithsonian Natural History Museum. My partner and I chose this place and it was freaking awesome. His grilled cheese and my sunflower toast were both PHENOMENAL and my iced earl grey/his quad shot 'le jim ' were both amazing! We had a lovely time. Love that they check vaccine cards for dine-in guests require masks. Super sweet staff, great atmosphere. Felt very welcome and comfy. Thank you!!!!

Easily my favorite cafe in DC! The staff and management are wonderful, the food is delicious (avocado toast fans unite! , but most of all you have to try the cold brew. Even during the pandemic, I would make the trek across town just to get my cold brew fix. 10/10 would recommend!

I work just around the corner from this cafe, and I’ve made it a part of my morning routine to stop by for a quick cold brew and a delicious snack (I highly recommend the banana bread, blueberry muffin, or avocado toast). Don’t forget to swing by in the afternoon for an excellent selection of wines and other dishes, like pan de queijo! I’ve seen some reviews where people expressed discomfort with the mask requirements, but I believe that for a small business with a limited staff, taking extra precautions is essential to keep everyone healthy and to maintain regular operations. This focus on safety is not only for the employees but also for the customers. I’m glad to support a small business that prioritizes the well-being of both its staff and patrons.

This is definitely one of the most adorable spots in DC for a quick meal and coffee! The staff were fantastic and clearly knew their regulars well. The owner was present during my visit, and she was wonderfully kind and patient while I placed my order—especially since I had my two indecisive kids with me. The food was delicious and the drinks were absolutely perfect! If you're in the area, you must stop by; the decor alone is worth the visit!
