Tequila Mezcal - Washington DC

The shrimp tacos were delicious, and the drinks were charming, though not very strong. Unfortunately, our server was rude. When I requested checks for our party of eight, she mentioned she would bring one and then walked away. We ended up needing to ask a manager to help us split the bill, and our server returned with separate checks as she could have done initially. Once everything was settled, she had the audacity to say that we should have mentioned wanting separate checks at the beginning – which I did; she simply chose to ignore it. I've worked in customer service myself, so I understand how to handle large parties better than she did.

Delicious food and an excellent selection of drinks! I tried the steak and chorizo tacos along with the house margarita made with mezcal. I highly recommend them!

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, just like the drinks. The server was friendly and attentive. When I encountered a problem with one of my tacos, they not only resolved the issue promptly, but they went above and beyond to make it right. I definitely plan to return. Bonus: it's dog-friendly!

Came here on a date and while I did not enjoy his company, I enjoyed this spot. The food wasn't the best I've ever had but it wasn't bad. The margaritas were perfect and the vibe was nice. We sat outside so we got to people watch. This seems like a great casual place to hang out before starting your night. I had their shrimp tacos with a side of rice and beans. Maybe I'm greedy but I could have eaten 5 tacos and twice as much rice and beans lol. Idk...but I definitely

I love this place! You know you?re in the right place when it?s packed on a Sunday and the owners are working hard! Our bartender Marco was magnificent! The drinks were original and absolutely amazing! The food? We travel the world and this is by far the best food and ambiance to just relax and love DC! Don?t walk here?run!
