Sweetgreen - Washington DC

This location has definitely declined. I'm a big fan of Sweetgreen, but my most recent salad was quite a departure (and not in a good way) from what I've experienced here and at other Sweetgreen locations. Both my spouse and I were disappointed with our meals during our last visit.

I placed my first pickup order today, set to be ready at 12:15 PM. However, at 12:40 PM, 25 minutes later than expected, I was informed that I would need to wait an additional 10 minutes for the sweet potatoes. When I requested to cancel my order so I could go elsewhere, I was directed to email corporate instead. I ended up accepting the salad as it was, without dressing and incomplete. The service was terrible.

I really enjoyed the salad I ordered; it was a generous portion, and the vegetables were of excellent quality, as was the chicken. I appreciated that they asked how much vinaigrette I wanted, allowing for a personalized touch. There are also some fantastic options for vegetarians. I would definitely return. While it's not the cheapest option out there, it was absolutely worth it for the meal and overall experience.

I love this place. Usually packed but they are efficient. Sometimes they run low on ingredianent which sucks, but I've never had anything bad. Harvest bowl for the win!!!!

I've gotten takeout twice from this location. The first time I ordered at the restaurant and it was a big, delicious salad. The second time I placed my order online and the portion was about half the size. Disappointing for a $14 salad. I'm willing to give them another try because the location is convenient to my work, and the food is good, but I was frustrated with the small size of the salad my last visit.
