Potbelly Sandwich Shop - Washington DC

I ordered a shake this morning through their app, but when I arrived at the store, they informed me that they were out of ice cream and, therefore, couldn't fulfill my order. There was no apology offered. It's a disappointing experience. Additionally, I have not received a refund.

This place was my favorite for years before Covid, thanks to their consistently delicious sandwiches. However, it seems they have recently revamped the menu, and the staff can be quite abrupt if you’re not familiar with the changes. The original sandwiches are significantly less enjoyable than they used to be, and they no longer offer shakes or dairy treats. Be warned, this is NOT the Potbelly's you remember.

I had a really great sandwich during my visit. If I had to rate it, I would give it a solid 4.5 out of 5. While it might not be the absolute best sandwich I've ever had, it's definitely among my top ten favorites. I’m already looking forward to coming back for more. Additionally, I think it would be fantastic if the restaurant could expand to the South!

It was great! I love their chicken salad sandwiches, and it was really good especially since I hadn 't had one in a while. I was uptown on K Street NW enjoying my sandwich because there aren 't many Potbellys in the Ward 7 and 8 areas of Washington DC.

As always, my milkshake was perfect, loaded with plenty of ice cream!
