Pansaari - Washington DC

I had an incredible and one-of-a-kind dining experience with my friends! The chai tea was the best I've ever tasted, and the food was bursting with flavor. I can't wait to return to DC and visit this place again!

A wonderful addition to the neighborhood! Instills a much needed sense of community to our neighborhood. The food chai are so authentic yummy. The owner Rano is so welcoming. And she's amazing with children! And a supporter of our neighborhood elementary school, Ross! All of the staff are friendly, kind, knowledgeable helpful. Hope to take a cooking class one of these days soon. So happy that I no longer have to go to the burbs to get real Indian spices. Its also beautifully designed! My only request is to please serve decaffeinated chai! If I drink caffeine after noon, I can never sleep but the chai is too tempting!

This place is *such* a DC gem. I discovered it shortly after it opened and it instantly became a favorite. The decor and atmosphere is beautiful and warm, and the food, tea, and sweets are lovingly created by hand. Pansaari is extraordinary in every way--family-owned, authentic, and welcoming.

This was an amazing dinning experience! History, culture, storytelling, food science and delicious food all rolled into one. Pansaari is a must for the curious pallet!
