This is Nicecream's second ice cream shop in Washington, D.C. located in The Shay building. They whip up nitrogen ice cream of all flavors and it's so fun to watch the ice steam emerge from the ice cream makers. If you love chocolate, order the nutella ice cream. It tastes just like it! They also sell coffee and several other baked goods like brownies! If you love ice cream, it's definitely one to stop by and try!

We absolutely love Nice Cream! This fresh, handmade ice cream that is flash frozen with nitrogen right before your eyes is delicious. The creative flavors at Nice Cream change weekly. This week, the Shaw location is featuring a variety of Girl Scout cookie inspired flavors such as Samoas and Tagalogs as well as Bananas Foster, Dark Chocolate with Sea Salt and Vanilla with Chocolate Chunk. In addition to the weekly flavors that change, they keep a consistent variety of hand dipped pints of their fan favorites.

I had an incredible experience during my first visit here! The flavors are truly unique, which left me with plenty of questions. My friends and I were in the mood for a snack when we stumbled upon an amazing creation: ice cream made using liquid nitrogen. Emarja delivered exceptional customer service and patiently answered all of my inquiries. I will definitely be returning!

The ice cream here is fantastic. I've never experienced ice cream made fresh to order using liquid nitrogen before. The staff was friendly, and the restaurant had a pleasant, clean atmosphere with large windows letting in lots of light. I loved that they offer customizable ice cream sandwiches with freshly baked cookies, which I found really cool. They also have a good variety of drinks to choose from.
