An oasis in the city.. ... a welcome relief from faceless chains and attempts at good food.<br/ <br/ Everything was fresh and made to order. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable and I very much enjoyed my breakfast and take away lunch. <br/ <br/ I'd look for them wherever I go now. <br/ <br/ High marks, all around.

Great place, and great atmosphere. Loved the food, it's the closest I've gotten to actual Belgian food (at least when it comes to the waffles and hot chocolate… . The staff were very friendly. It was a great experience.

Get ready to enjoy a European trip, cuisine wise at least, in downtown DC. I really enjoyed having breakfast here. My favorite spot was the comfortable chairs by the large windows. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I also liked their alternative milk options for their drinks. Check it out and let me know what you think ‍‍

Nice cafe located right near the subway stations, we got the mint lemonade and an iced latte, along with three mini cakes (apricot, carrot and chocolate banana). The atmosphere was really comfortable, especially after walking around in the heat. The latte was also good…the mint lemonade was nice, too (a little bit on the sour side) but still worth it. This is a franchise I think, so I don’t know how it compares to the others, but it was extremely clean, very spacious and the staff was very friendly.
