I am sorta aghast at how expensive bubble tea is becoming, especially what I consider to be the McDonalds of boba.I ordered an oolong tea with oolong tea jelly, and I regret that. The jelly was very hard to drink and did not easily come up through my straw. However I did think the 70% sweet hit a pretty good sweet spot of not too sweet, but not too watery. Will I be back? Maybe, they also seem to be a korean ghost kitchen that serves lunch/fried chicken that I am interested in!
The art of good customer service is waning nowadays. No greeting, no eye contact: it just makes the whole experience negative.
We walked in after the closing time. Though the waitress was not happy about it, still she was happy to accommodate our online order and honored it by preparing the drinks (taro milk tea and wintermelon milk green tea) with absolute professionalism. We felt that 5$ was quite a lot for the hype about this bubble tea. I had heard that earlier Kung fu tea used to be so famous and the bubble tea came in a taller cup. Now though felt it was slightly overhyped but the tea was good. So had a refreshing cup.
I needed a quiet spot to work (on a Sunday). I called before I arrived and they young lady who answered informed it's was quiet and they had WiFi. When I came in I was pleased to see the had SEVERAL OUTLETS and steady WiFi. I bought a Strawberry lemonade green tea (that the two employees considerately recommended) , it was soo refreshing! Definitely recommend! Also they had a really nice chill playlist that helped me get through my work.
