Huacatay - Washington DC

Huacatay is the finest Peruvian chicken restaurant in D.C. Having traveled to Peru and having many Peruvian friends, I can confidently say that they serve authentic cuisine. The seasoning on their chicken is fantastic, and their rice and beans are excellent. They also offer a wide selection of sauces. I'm thrilled my husband discovered this place, as it has quickly become one of our go-to spots for takeout. The service is efficient, and the staff is always friendly.

I've visited this restaurant four times since their soft opening, and I must say, the dining experience is quite comfortable. The food is served hot and is very fresh. The interior is stylish and contemporary, and the service is both quick and welcoming. The authentic cuisine brings back memories of my Peruvian upbringing. They've added some new salads and desserts to the menu that are absolutely incredible. This charming little restaurant has great potential with its bold flavors—I’m excited to see it thrive and introduce many people to the amazing world of Peruvian cuisine.

Really good place to eat charbroiled chicken! My children loves the chicken and the sides: yucca, green beans, and RICe!!! We Definitely give this place 5- !
