Ihop - Washington City

The choco tacos were good. The new strawberry biscuits were terrible..no flavor, barely any strawberries. I thought they would be more sweet. Door dash and ihop brought me zero syrup. Sad

Someone spit in my coffee…Usually I have a good experience at IHOP. This time was my last time at this location. Me and my family went in to eat breakfast, the waitress there was kind and everything went smoothly until I got my coffee. While halfway through my coffee I slurped up a loogie and I immediately spit all my coffee into the napkin. I started to feel sick to my stomach. I told everyone at the table that I think someone spit in my coffee. I have absolutely no idea why. I said almost nothing to anyone the entire time we were there. My partner suggested that I tell the waitress and manager about it but I was really hesitant because I was afraid of coming off as a “Karen”. I decided to follow through with it and told the waitress about it and she got the manager for me. The manager seemed ready for a fight before she got to the table and immediately told me that she has known her staff for years and none of them would ever do something like that. I just told her it was fine and I just wanted to check and to leave. She did offer another new coffee but I turned down her offer. I just wanted to get out of there. I’m never going to this location again and really hope that all those who read this reconsider.

My wife and I walked in on Saturday morning, veterans day, no greeting, noticed one person cooking one waitress, the waitress was telling the cook how to make the red white and Blue pancakes.We looked at each other and walked out. So I am sure they are nice people but understaffed.But we just was not comfortable about staying there to eat.

I appreciate the Veterans Red White and Blue breakfast. However, there was no acknowledgment for the service to my country. In fact, I felt kinda felt like a freeloader.

Good food. The staff was shouting at each other and complaining to the customers loudly about being short staffed. It was a stressful atmosphere.
