Location is great! Rooms.are.comfortable.I like really hot water in the shower and I did not have it. It was warm.. not hot .They charge you $89 extra at the check out for 3 night. They said eservations fee. Really?No fresh water for drinking. You have to buy it .

We stayed in the executive suite. The room had a very small fridge and no microwave. The hotel's service needs to improve. The location was good. The room was clean. The doorknob to the room fell out. The bed was comfortable. I would stay again. It was a nice spacious executive suite with a very nice view. Housekeeping for the hotel is very good.

Had a great experience staying here. The location is fabulous walking distance from Dupont, the White House, Monuments/Mall/Smithsonian, plenty of great restaurants, many many metro stops, etc. The staff at the hotel were were friendly and the service good. Quiet enough for a city hotel, although I do always sleep with ear plugs. There was also free gelato in the lobby 2 of the nights of our stay, which was a lovely little summer treat.Cons: valet parking is the only option and the pricing was pretty absurd $61/night when I stayed which feels exuberant even for DC.. At $61 a night you have to have some excuse or perk that makes it feel a little better like a car wash and detail service or SOMETHING because this isn't a 5 star luxury hotel... but the valet staff were very nice and pricing likely has nothing to do with them.The rooms were also great but not 5 star clean there was a good deal of dust in my room, which led me to have allergies in the night. The floor of the bathroom also had water marks/spots near the sink you could tell cursory cleaning was regular, rather than a deep clean.Overall, positive enough experience not to knock off any stars.Walkability: Extremely walkable depending on what you are in DC to do. I was in DC for work, but this spot is central and near just about everything: business district, metro stops that will get you anywhere in or around DC, the White House, monuments, Smithsonian, museums, restaurants, coffee shops, and bars, etc. Also near so much green space parks everywhere.

The hotel was clean overall; however, it needs updating. Our shower drained very slowly, but the staff fixed the issue in a timely manner. Consider booking directly through the hotel for better value. We booked a rate that included parking for about what we would have paid if we had booked through Expedia without parking. We ended up with a complimentary room upgrade to a park view room, and I believe it was because we booked directly through the hotel rather than booking with a third party site.

Hotel was clean and great location. The hotel staff was not as friendly as they could be and our ice machine on the floor did not work. They did not seem interested in fixing or helping me. The hotel parking was nice but just had to wait an additional 10-15 minutes for the car.
