Umaya Izakaya - Washington

Even though they were busy we were seated quickly even without a reservation. I ordered the spicy miso ramen which, while good, I felt did not warrant a warning about spiciness and was a tad light on pork belly. I split the takoyaki and a curry croquette with a friend and both were delicious. We also enjoyed some of their sake selection.

It's a nice place but nothing wow. It's ok. The dishes have a good presentation.Food: 4/5

The woman who greeted us was rather unpleasant. We felt like we were bothering her.

Tourist trap. Far overpriced for the quality of the food. Service was prompt and accommodating, though.
