Tune Inn - Washington

I was in town for a conference and stumbled upon this restaurant. Ricky was probably the best bartender I've ever had the pleasure of interacting with. He was incredibly friendly, personable, and just an all-around great guy. The food was excellent, and they serve breakfast too. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a simple and enjoyable dining experience.

Pretty good tasting food at a very reasonable price. Not like fresh shrimp, but it was not the cheap stuff either. I would eat here again.

The service at this restaurant was outstanding, thanks in part to a gentleman who has worked there for 14 years. He even brought us mozzarella sticks without us ordering them, wanting us to try them because they had won awards. They were fantastic—truly the best I’ve ever had! However, the prices on the Yelp menu are a bit misleading; everything is about $5 more expensive, but it’s definitely worth it. The ambiance is really cool, with very limited seating, making it a quiet spot away from the bustling Smithsonian. The fish and chips were the best I’ve ever had—a real, full fillet that was fried to perfection. It took me back to my childhood days of fishing and frying up the catch. Absolutely delicious and unique! I highly recommend this place!

This restaurant and bar have a lot of charm. It feels like a classic spot in old Washington, D.C., with plenty of history. I can only imagine the stories these walls could tell – there must be so many layers and scandals! A few newer restaurants and trendy folks stop by here, especially since we were looking for a quick bite and there were plenty of seats available. The burger was quite good, and I enjoyed the sweet potato fries too. I didn't have any drinks since I was working, so I can only speak to the ambiance and the burger. Our server was friendly and attentive, and if I find myself back in the area, I would definitely stop by again.
