Tim Hortons - Washington

Stopped off on a long car journey for some lunch as an alternative to McDonald's. My Wife and I had Chicken burger meals, which were nice, and my son had the chicken wrap which he said was comparable to the aforementioned. The doughnuts are what we really went for, and the box of 6 is great value compared to the individual ones. It was over £30 for what would have cost £20 at McDonald's or KFC, and I can't see the extra value. That's the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars.

This restaurant is located in a truck stop setting, with Dairy Queen, Little Caesar's, and a convenience store/gas station all housed in one building. While the selection of donuts is not extensive, they offer a variety of sandwiches and coffee options. The staff is extremely friendly and patient.

We were excited to find this restaurant in the United States after visiting Canada. It's a bit hidden away and in a strip mall, so you have to keep an eye out or you might miss it. The place looked clean from what we could see. The staff was friendly, the service was quick, and the frozen coffees were delicious.

The chicken is delicious, the bread is not dry at all. I love the taste of the crispy chicken burger. The doughnuts are too sweet for my liking, but my daughter absolutely loves them.

I arrived at the restaurant this morning right when they opened, and was impressed with how smoothly everything was running despite the large number of customers so early in the day. The restaurant had plenty of staff on hand and had great offers available, including free samples for those waiting in cars and outside. The staff were friendly and engaging, making for a pleasant visit. I can't wait to come back again soon.
