The Smithy Cafe At 9 Main - Washington

Such a nice spot. I've been here twice, and each time was pleasant. I've had both their scones as well as their pancakes and can first recommend the scones for one who might be craving something sweeter or are in a rush. And second, the pancakes were simple but delicious. The pancakes were served with a petite glass bottle of their maple syrup. My one complaint is how when we asked to sit outside, they said the food was brought out. Some time later, we checked back insideto find the food waiting there. Would come back again.

I recently moved to the area and discovered this charming café! I decided to try the Golden Milk Latte, having never had one before, and from now on, it will be my go-to drink! It pairs perfectly with their vegan truffles, which are absolutely amazing! The atmosphere is calm and the staff is warm and welcoming. I highly recommend this place to everyone!

I've had the pleasure of enjoying lunch several times at the Smithy Cafe. This charming cafe is situated in the heart of New Preston, and its rustic beauty immediately draws you in as you arrive. The staff welcomed me warmly, and everyone was incredibly friendly and eager to serve their delicious dishes. My husband and I chose to eat outside at a table shaded by a lovely canopy of trees. The food was delightful and artisanal, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Smithy Cafe. Be sure to try their delicious scones—they're scrumptious! We look forward to returning soon. Charming location with delicious food and friendly staff. The coffee was fantastic! My only issue was with the Bacon Jam on my Breakfast Sandwich, which was too overpowering because of the excessive cinnamon. This should have been noted on the menu. I've tried various types of Bacon Jam before, and none have included cinnamon as an ingredient.
