The Henri - Washington

We were caught up in the protest last night in DC. It was very frustrating because Pennsylvania Avenue was closed, and traffic was at a standstill near the restaurant. We had reservations for dinner at The Henri, and 7pm show at the Warner Theater across the street. We finally got to the restaurant about hour after our reservation time. They seated us quickly, offered us water and brought us our drinks. Since we were very short on time, we ordered the charcuterie with some bread and butter which was delicious! Thank you so much for making us feel welcome and getting us to the show on time!!

In some previous visits to le Henri, the restaurant was out of some items on the menu. But this time, le Henri was well- stocked. As a result we had a terrific meal. My wife had Maine lobster which she adored, and I had a very tasty porchetta. We will definitely be back!

One more amazing evening. The menu was exciting and the service was impeccable. The best 69th anniversary celebration ever. Thank you!

Love to have lunch at The Henri. The prices are a bit extreme even for DC so we only order the small plates, salads or soups. But every dish is delicious and so well prepared. It is a splurge but an enjoyable one!

What a wonderful dinner. The food was excellent, the ambience perfect, and our server, David, a true professional.
