Teaism Dupont Circle - Washington

I ordered the vegan burger and was concerned to see it being cooked on the same grill as animal products. The bun was placed in the same area where chicken had just been removed, and I observed the staff using their hands to press down a sausage before handling the bun. They also used the same spatula that had been used for the chicken on my burger. When I inquired if they kept vegetarian items separate, I was met with a shrug. I will be avoiding this restaurant in the future.

I really enjoyed the vegan cheeseburger made from beets, along with the sweet potato miso side and cole slaw. The jasmine tea with boba was also delightful. I ordered through Uber Eats, so I can't comment on the restaurant's atmosphere or service.

Large portioning, warm and cozy seating in the upper floor, creative dishes and tons of sweet. some dedicated vegan options, but much flexibility.

I was pleased to find Teasism in the DuPont Circle neighborhood. They have an extensive menu for tea, and sadly, a less extensive food menu. However, the food they offer is delicious. I got the Indian curry bowl, and it was so good and packed with veggies. Their atmosphere is relaxing; they have a nice space to relax and escape from the city for a little bit.
