My Frapp was delish, they had everything I wanted and the staff was efficient!
This location has the perfect vibe for Midtown DC. While walking around U Street today, I spotted this cafe from afar and was reminded that I had been wanting to check it out. A close friend had mentioned at least twice how much she loved the new caramel ribbon crunch frappuccino for the season. So when I walked in, I was blown away by how vibrant the place was. The music was lively funk that was hard to ignore, and it was clear that the three employees were genuinely enjoying their work—a rare sight, as many other places tend to be generic or dull. It was genuinely fun to be there! The only downside was the lack of indoor seating; they do have some tables outside, but that’s not ideal in this heat. Perhaps the absence of indoor seating is due to city regulations, who knows? As for the frappuccino, it was simply delicious.
This Starbucks location is not well-maintained, and they often get your drink order wrong. Most importantly, the staff here are quite rude and disrespectful, particularly a woman named Latanya. She spends her time standing outside the counter handing out online orders, and her demeanor is very off-putting. Overall, a disappointing experience!
"The coffees at this place are fantastic. They tend to be quite busy, so be prepared to wait at least 5 minutes for pickup orders. The Impossible Breakfast Sandwich is particularly delicious and has just the right amount of flavor. As for vegetarian options, the Impossible Breakfast Sandwich is definitely a highlight!"
