Shrimp Boat is a DC landmark and food experience. It has Soul Food, The BBQ chicken wings are the best. They sell baked fish,chicken, turkey wings, etc. Anything you could think of. I love their vegetables. The mixed vegetables and the cabbage are my favorite. They sell breakfast throughout the day, It is a popular landmark for Benning Road and East Capital Street. East Capital Street crosses into MD. Shrimp boat also has the outside vendors on the East Capital side during the late spring and summer. It also sits next to the Benning Rosd subway station on the Benning road side of NE.

Its like a corner store slash carryout. The food is okay but the desserts are excellent.

Always love the food there and staff is very friendly!

Good food, respectful employees I think it should be a police presence just because where it's located
