Rachel K's Bakery - Washington

We had heard many positive reviews about this bakery, so it was on our list of places to visit. However, we were quite disappointed as it didn't live up to our expectations. The pastries were not arranged in an attractive way, and the cut bars varied drastically in size. Additionally, the cinnamon rolls were haphazardly stacked, with some lacking frosting while others were heavily covered. Another downside was that there were no prices listed anywhere! When we inquired with the young man at the counter, he mentioned that the prices were available in the register. It would be helpful to display prices either on the products or on a chalkboard. Moreover, we found the prices to be exorbitant, which may cater well during the tourist season but not so much during the off-season. It was evident that sales were slow, as it was after lunch and the displays were still quite full, raising concerns about the freshness of the baked goods. The most disappointing moment came as we were leaving— the young man at the counter made a loud and rude comment about us not making a purchase.

I tried the cinnamon rolls last week, and they were just alright. The icing was just powdered sugar, packed in a bag, and most of it ended up stuck to the paper. For $4.00 each, I was expecting a lot more. I had been really looking forward to trying the bakery, but between the cinnamon rolls and the indifferent attitude of the girl behind the counter, I was quite disappointed.

First time going today and I must say best baked goods I have had in a very long time! No one has made baked goods like this in a very long time. So, so, so, so delicious. 100% will be back to buy more and try more things! I had the cinnamon roll! Let me tell you something!!! There is no cinnamon roll that will beat this cinnamon roll and I love cinnamon roll's. I am 25 and just found the best cinnamon roll ever. Fluffy, soft, perfect amount of cinnamon, perfect amount of icing, and no gewy middle!! Rachel K, Rachel K! Thank you for blessing me!

There are many choices of baked goods and coffees. I had a brownie and chocolate chip cookie. Sadly they were dry. I’ve been twice and it was the same. Some people may like a crisp cookie. Just not for me ??‍
