Pizza Policy Dc - Washington

The staff is not very friendly, they always close before their posted online hours, and there are better pizza options available elsewhere.

This is definitely some of the best pizza I have ever had, especially in DC. I was a bit hesitant at first due to some of the reviews, as I had never dined here before. However, it was absolutely worth it. I highly recommend checking it out if you get the chance.

Unfortunately, I don't have any photos because we devoured everything! The pizza at this restaurant was amazing! If you're near 14th St. in Washington DC and craving delicious pizza, wings, and salad, you have to try this place! It's simple, no fancy decorations, just pure delicious food! The only reason we didn't give it five stars was because there wasn't enough outdoor seating. But don't let that stop you, just grab your food and enjoy it at home!

This was my second time ordering from Pizza Policy. The first time I ordered a pizza. It took an unusually long time for it to be ready, but when I eventually got home it was ok. just ok, nothing special, nothing to make me run back. Today I decided to try their subs instead. I ordered online and ordered the special which was the bourbon chicken sandwich. Was supposed to be bourbon chicken, lettuce, tomato, herb mayo. I also ordered cajun fries and jumbo cookie. I arrived and they told me it wasn 't ready yet. After almost 30 minutes of waiting with no one else even placing orders, I was given my food and went home. The cajun fries were ok at best and needed a lot of ketchup. the sandwich which was supposed to be as i listed above, was a dry as f*ck piece of chicken, no sauce on the bread, some spinach, and a few slices of pepperoni. the jumbo cookie was just 3 regular size cookies. This type of carelessness and ineptitude is unacceptable and I will not be back.

Went here around 1:30pm and ordered a sandwich. I got the caprese sub and lemonade. The lemonade was perfectly tart. The sub was good. The unexpected thing was there was white cheddar I believe. I removed it as cheddar doesn't sit well in my stomach but the shop doesn't know that. Once I removed the white cheddar, it seemed a bit less cheese. Other than that it was good. I'd give this place a try again.
