You’ll need to make a reservation, and to show that you’re serious, there’s a requirement for a down payment. Believe me, that commitment will have you looking forward to your visit! The meal comes with multiple courses, and I highly recommend pairing it with their sake drinks. It’s an extra cost, but it complements the meals perfectly and is absolutely delicious. I've heard they change their menu every season, and this time they featured wagyu beef. Honestly, if I could have afforded it, I would have returned the very next day just for that experience! They also offer caviar as an add-on, but that’s entirely up to you. The staff here are incredibly friendly. The bartender, whose name escapes me, crafted amazing drinks, and the sous chefs were fantastic. The head chef, who I also can't remember the name of, was exceptional and truly beautiful. If you haven’t visited this place yet, do yourself a favor and go check it out. My words can’t fully capture how wonderful it is. Just a note: if you’re someone who likes to make substitutions or is picky about food, this might not be the spot for you, as they don’t accommodate changes to the meals. But if you love food and want to savor every ingredient on your plate, this is the place for you! Don’t miss out on this incredible experience!

The lunch special is fantastic, and I always have a great experience here. The staff is respectful and courteous.

I wish this restaurant were closer to my home. I dined here for many years whenever I had a teaching schedule at GU. The kamameshi and chirashi are consistently delicious. The kamameshi comes with different side dishes each day, which keeps things interesting. One small issue is parking; when I pass by, it's difficult to find a spot, especially since Safeway is closed.

I must say, dining at this restaurant made me feel like I’m back home in Japan. Despite the inconvenient location and the outdated indoor decor, I was very impressed by the quality of food. I had mackerel oshizushi and eel kamameshi. Both were so good that they could be served in Japan. I highly recommend trying the kamameshi, as you can’t eat this authentic Japanese dish anywhere in the DMV area, or even on the East Coast.

Small place but good food. Great Veg sushi. Also tried the Kamameshi and enjoyed the same. To end the dinner had the mochi icecreams which are one of my favorites
