Firehook Bakery - Washington

I love this place. Excellent pastries, cakes, coffee, bread, and more. Seriously, DC is lucky to have this place. Staff are really nice and it's a comfy space to sit and relax. There's nice sunshine in the early morning at the sidewalk tables and window. Check it out!

I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! We both got an americano (one hot, one iced with oat milk. It was only around $8 which for DC I was expecting way more. The people working were so nice! I also grabbed sugar to put in it but it didn’t need it at all! This is the best coffee I’ve had in ages! It made me so happy : thanks guys!!

This is a gem of a place! We went there 3 mornings in a row! Their sausage breakfast croissant is top notch. Cheese Danish is solid and their desserts are good quality. We tried what we thought was lemon meringue pie...turns out it was a passion fruit meringue. Not what we were expecting but good nonetheless. The customer service is good...right after walking in the door someone greets you and asks if they can help. Seems like a basic concept but post-covid it seems like it's not so basic with the new help or lack of help. Firehook is a must-try!

Possibly the nicest coffee and goodies I have tasted in Washington. Excellent service, with friendly staff. Try the Almond Biscotti as treat for home.

What a lovely bakery. Friendly staff, well priced pastries. Will be back before leaving Washington.
