Edgar Kitchen - Washington

Very disappointing experience. The food quality and portions were poor. Service was slow, and it was so dark, I couldn't read the menu. When I asked what came with my entree, the waiter told me to read the menu. Of course I couldn't see it and he offered no other info. I dined with 2 others and their impressions of food and service were the same. First and last time I will dine here.

I went to this restaurant for brunch and I have to say, it was just average. The food was cold and the coffee tasted burnt. It was disappointing considering the high prices. If you're looking for a better breakfast option, I suggest going to Gregory's Coffee next door. They serve fresh, hot food and great coffee. My friends and I ended up going there after our experience at Edgar's.

I sat at the bar and enjoyed the nice decor and good service. While it was a bit on the pricey side, the restaurant at the hotel met all my expectations.

I've been over to Edgar a few times for brunch/breakfast usually you can get a table pretty easily. The service is ok compared to other places in the city it isn't great. The food is solid would I seek it out again maybe the hotel is cool and it's a good location but probably not. Pancakes were a highlight, burger was ok, mcedgar was solid was well.

Solid choice for food when you are staying at the hotel. Let?s face it, convenience is everything and while the restaurant is not perfect, they do a great job with their food. The restaurant is pretty clean but has lots of nooks and crannies which make navigation confusing. The staff is friendly but they seem to be a little disorganized.
