Colada Shop - Washington

Delicious! I took a short break here before meeting the muses of DC, and I’m pretty sure I picked up a colada. The cubano sandwich is amazing! It's very aromatic, and the meat is perfectly juicy. My only minor complaint is that my 8-ounce drink came in a small cup. But enjoying good food is what really matters. The atmosphere is also lively and enjoyable. It was a beautiful place to stop during my trip.

My cousin brought me to this place and promised I would love the atmosphere—and she was absolutely right! I really appreciated the interior design and the overall vibe. I ordered a sandwich, some coffee, a pastel, and a cookie. The sandwich was incredibly delicious, and I even had to save half of it for later (lol). Oh, and I almost forgot that I ordered tostones. I wish they were a little less crunchy, but I still enjoyed them. Normally, I like my guava pastries with melted guava, but this was still quite tasty. The customer service was great, and the ambiance was definitely my favorite part. I would definitely come back—100%! 10 out of 10!

The interior was very spacious with large open windows, making it a lovely place to enjoy coffee or a meal before heading to the wharf. The iced café con leche was $4.85; however, this time it didn’t quite amaze me. While it was still tasty, the espresso flavor and notes weren't as pronounced as I remembered. Nonetheless, I would still recommend it to any latte lover! It was a great day walking around the city with my friends, though by the time we reached the Lincoln Memorial, I was really desperate to find a restroom!

Every time we visit dc, this place must be one, I love her coffee, baked and breakfast sandwiches. the personal is very pleasant

Tried the cafe con leche and sweet cheese danish. Both were delicious! Prices are comparable to Starbucks. Seating inside and outside. Plus looking around the shops while drinking your coffee is a plus. Would come back for another coffee!
