Char - Washington

Every time my wife and I visit this place, we are never disappointed. eating is always fresh and tasty. the service is top notch and the host (michael chelst) is a real class act. Even if it is packed - which is quite often, we always feel like we are the only people in the room. Whenever I have to decide for everyone, the char bar is always up on my list.

Ordered the mixed grill for 2, would not recommend. Not even for half the price. When the server brought it to our table he asked with hesitation “this gonna be enough for you two?” The “rib-eye” served was inedible, ate one piece left the rest. talked to the manager about it, he just shrugged it off. I understand it’s tough times for food establishments but this was a terribly negative experience.

Hands down, one of the best kosher restaurants in the MD-DC Area.Went there for lunch date with my wife.The food is delicious, we ordered the mixed grill and the shem tov salad, everything was wonderful.The service was great as well.Not a cheap place but definitely worth the price.Highly recommend ???
