Caruso's Grocery Dc - Washington

We went to caruso’s on a busy Saturday night and while it was busy in the main dining room, we had chosen for a high table near the bar during booking) and it was both cozy and offered a good look at the bar. the service was not overlaid, it was easy enough. the timing of the meal was perfect, and we never felt rushed. the tomato and burrata salad was plentiful that we shared it as an app, and for my main meal I got the linguins and muddle and decided to garnel on them to add $7 charge) which made it even better. the cream brulee with orange was a beautiful note for dessert and it is huge, so definitiw interchangeable.

The food was not worth the price. a disappointing, inhibitory attempt to create a modern red sauce joint.

Caruso has been on my list for some time and we have finally tried. everything we ordered was done at a high level. caruso is the kind of place where they want to try every dish on the menu because they know that they will be all delicious.

Service and food were great!!! The only issue is that our reservation was for 7:30 and they sat us on our table at almost 8pm everything else was great and can’t wait to return!

Had the veal and chicken parmigiana, soo sooo sooooo good! 12 out of 10! But they need to get rid of the sundae ,,, because it was too sweet. Great place for a date!
