The Whalen - Warwick

Neighborhood spot that you don't expect. Great chili!!

I love the Whalen. Their bartenders are friendly and remember what you drink. Food is delicious and it's nice to go to a home town bar vs. a chain.

This place has been here for many years. about 3 years ago i went in to try it.....it did not go well. the barmaid was only interested in the regular customers no you ca't play the lottery, no you can't get any food from the kitchen and no you can't have another beer all until she finishes the regulars). i went there to try again last week. Wow great service! got food from the kitchen and had 2 beers no problem. they even have Whalers Rise on draft now. i won't hesitate to drop in again now.

For more than 30 years, this place has offered the best bar food in Warwick. Many of the dishes are homemade, and you won't find better prices anywhere else. The staff is fantastic, making it a welcoming spot for both locals and first-time visitors. The atmosphere is lively, featuring pool tables, darts, music, keno, and plenty of TVs to catch your favorite games. The menu includes delicious options like wings, club sandwiches, chili (one of my favorites alongside the snail salad), fish and chips, and meatloaf dinner.

The fish and chips were amazing! They made my 21st birthday truly special with delicious food, a fun game of pool, and an overall comfortable atmosphere.
