The Catering Gourmet - Warwick

I've been avoiding this company after hearing so many of my co-workers had issues and complaints with them. I absolutley had to utilize them because they would deliver to my venue in Mass. To no surprise, they didnt want to deliver to Mass and still wanted to charge me the full delivery costs. The meals provided lacked in quality and were quite weak. I couldve done better going to BJ's wholesale. They just want to cut as many corners as possible to maximize their profits. I should have followed my instinct and my co-workers advice.

I organized an event at a local hotel in early August. The preferred caterer was The Catering Gourmet. During the planning process we went back and forth with Michaela many times. The communication, the catering attendant on-site, and Michaela were all fabulous (an very patient with my constant changes. Last but not least, ALL of the food was delicious. I highly recommend their homemade potato chips w/ Gorgonzola gravy as well as their bakery style pizza. Given the opportunity I would definitely use them again if budget allows. Thanks, Michaela!

Two thumbs way up!! We had TCG cater a seventy-person birthday party for our daughter. Half kids (ages ten to infant) and half adults. Getting a quote and booking was easy! They worked with us on our number of people and were prompt to respond to calls and email. Drop-off went smoothly and the food was phenomenal! HIGHLY recommend the Gouda Mac and Cheese bar... it was a huge hit! Price was also competitive/on par with other caterers we have worked with in the past for similar parties! Will definitely be back!

After encountering a delivery issue ordering The Catering Gourmet through a third party application, I was personally reached out to by a member of the team at Catering Gourmet offering a sincere apology. Even though the issue was entirely out of their hands, they were incredibly quick with follow up in an attempt to rectify the error. A small gesture that goes a long way!

After waiting weeks and asking 5 times for a quote we were promised would be ready the day after our conversation, we found he wanted to charge us $3,000 for a 20 person wedding no alcohol included. When we tried to discuss how the price was 3x higher than anywhere else we’d been quoted he ghosted us. He clearly has no interest in catering smaller events and wish he would’ve told us we weren’t big enough rather than throwing a crazy inflated price at us after nearly a month of waiting.
