Beautiful cozy café above Wartenbergs with great views over Wartenberg. Large beer garden and nursery. Friendly services and very good prices! Always worth a trip.

General The mountain cafe, as the name says, is on the mountain. Since the parking spaces are very limited, it is likely that you will often walk there. The climb is short but steep. The view from Bergcafe is fascinating and reciprocating to Munich Airport. Operation The operation was nice and attentive. Empty glasses were not automatically observed, but after a brief hint, someone was always at the place. The food was delicious. It did not taste after finished products and the cooking points in the meat were perfect. If you want something vegetarian: The dishes were unfortunately not served on warm plates. The ambience of reading the reviews that are currently cursing on the internet from the Bergcafe, you get to the impression that you come to a star restaurant. It's not like that! The Bergcafe is an inn with solid kitchen, nice service, rustic ambience and delicious cuisine. No more and no less! We'll be happy to go back there. But maybe we'll miss the change of clothes before. ; In the Bergcafe, the Wartenberger Local Prominence is the same as normal people. A dress code does not exist. Cleanliness The place was clean and tidy. Unfortunately, it's normal today that you have to go through a torment before entering a place. But inside it looks clean. Cleanliness In the restaurant we felt quite ok.

The cake is made itself, the chief's confectioner training looks and tastes. We are usually very often, however, for good-bourgeois food in Bergcafe. The furnishings are pleasantly rustic. Through the tile stove in the middle of the restaurant, the Atmospähre is very cuddly. The staff is very friendly. The location of Bergcafe is somewhat above Wartenberg. A staircase leads up to the mountain cafe of the ascent is already somewhat steeper, but the path is looming. Parking should be below, as there are no parking spaces right at the top of the cafe, so parking below the stairs. The audience is mixed. Depending on the time, young audiences can find everything up to the older ones. The menu offers a lot and especially something for everyone. From my point of view, it is highly recommended to use the grill plate, but you should already be an experienced eater, the portions are really very large. No matter what I had eaten in the mountain face, it was always great. Craftsmanship very well made, especially served fresh and appealing. We have never been disappointed in our numerous visits to this day. From my point of view, a reliable address where you can go to good conscience food.

We are regular guests in the Bergcafe, because the food is simply very fine.The head of the Bergcafe is a confectioner, there is always a nice selection of delicious cakes and cakes that we often order for family celebrations to pick up. Nevertheless, the mountain café is more a rustic country guest house over the roofs of Wartenberg in beautiful weather you have a grandiose view to Munich Airport. The map is varied and not too large, always with seasonal daily map (in autumn with pumpkin soup, in spring asparagus etc. You eat not only very well, but also really cheaply. However, once you have tried the onion roast or the Buffalo Bill Steak, you can see a designated steakhouse against this meat and its preparation very pale!
