Warrnambool Charcoal Chicken

Warrnambool Charcoal Chicken has closed down and is now Emperors House Gourmet Express Takeaway. The new restaurant serves Asian take-away foods and chicken and chips as a sideline, but it is not as good as the old charcoal chicken business that was there before.

This is the place to go to when you are tired and do not want to decide what to have for a meal. It stocks tasty bbq chicken in hot and cold packs as well as vegies or salad to go with it. Quick and easy meals.

Called in 20 minutes before closing 8.10pm Monday night. Ordered baked dinner take away One roast chicken the other roast pork. The roast pork was one of the nicest roast pork's I have had for a long time. Very filling and very reasonably priced.

Unfortunately, I ended up ordering a beef roll and it turned out to not be what I expected (namely it was a hamburger bun with beef and nothing else, and no gravy either). It is sort of a shame because I did like the place, and am kicking myself a bit for not going for either the chips, or a souvlaki. Maybe next time, but then again I don't envisage myself coming back to Warrnambool any time soon.
